Sometimes getting that big break is all about being in the right place at the right time. Take Juno Rinaldi. The Canadian cutie grew up next door to filmmaker Anne Wheeler who cast her tween-aged neighbor in The War Between Us (1995). After training at Studio 58 at Langara College, the gorgeous grad homed her craft in theater productions across British Columbia. It’s no surprise the stage was in her blood since Juno was named after the titular character in Sean O’Casey’s play Juno and the Paycock. The pretty performer proceeded to score paychecks from television per guest spots on various shows (Bionic Woman, Psych, Arrow); a role in the miniseries 5ive Days to Midnight (2004); plus parts in TV movies (The Linda McCartney Story, Silicon Follies, Girl in the Bunker). The boob tube babe also was a regular on several series, such as These Arms of Mine (2001), How to Buy a Baby (2017) and Holly Hobbie (2018). Yet Ms. Rinaldi is best known for her portrayal of frazzled Frankie Coyne in the CBC comedy Workin’ Moms (2017-2021). Perhaps that’s because Juno and co-stars Catherine Reitman and Dani Kind kick off the run by revealing their racks in a baby care class. Oh, mama!
